Janice Barringer
Janice Barringer began her training in Orlando, Florida, where she first studied ballet and later tap, jazz, and acrobatics. As a young adult, her main focus became ballet which brought her to live in NYC where her main teacher became David Howard at Harkness House.
Janice has taught ballet for Harkness House, Steps on Broadway, Ballet Hispanico, Alvin Ailey American Dance Center, Eglevsky Ballet, and Pace University. Janice also has taught for numerous dance conventions such as Joe Tremaine, Dance Educators of America, Dance Masters of America, Dance Caravan, and Dance Makers.
Her work is exceptional for dance studios. Understanding the difference between how a dance studio and a ballet studio approach ballet training, Janice offers work that makes sense for dance studios.
