Janice Barringer's Music for Ballet Class, Vol. 1
Janice Barringer's Music for Ballet Class, Vol. 1 is a collection of music for each type of exercise found in a typical ballet class, starting with plies through grande allegro. All the music has been chosen carefully by Janice Barringer to have the proper rhythm and beat, which is appropriate for each type of exercise. Janice has consulted with John Gavalchin, one of the leading New York City ballet accompanists, to choose music commonly used in New York professional ballet classes. Mr. Gavalchin, a Ph.D. and a professor at Columbia University, is the pianist for this collection of work.
