Make You Smile | April Atherton | Low-Intermediate Jazz | Ages 10–12
Make You Smile is a low-intermediate jazz routine for dancers ages 10–12, set to an upbeat song about smiles, positivity, and friendship. Two performance lengths give teachers flexibility to choose the version that suits their dancers and recital timing.
April Atherton’s choreography includes passé, pirouette, 3-step turn, battement, and pas de bourrée in age-appropriate combinations. A partner section supports teamwork and stage presence, with an optional sissonné for dancers ready for an additional challenge.
