Nadine Hassen

Nadine Abukhzam Hassen is the Owner and Artistic Director of RAD Dance Studio in Agoura Hills, CA (formerly known as Retter's Academy of Dance), as well as the Artistic Director of the nationally ranked, prestigious RAD Dance Company! 

Nadine is an exciting educator, choreographer, dancer, and motivator who grew up in Thousand Oaks, CA - where her passion for education, leadership, service, and dance was set in motion. She has 15+ years of dance training in all genres, including jazz, ballet, contemporary, musical theater, jazz funk, lyrical and hip hop. 

Nadine has coached and taught dance at numerous studios and schools throughout Southern California, including Retter’s Academy of Dance, Infuse Dance Studio, and the California Lutheran University Dance Team. She has been inspired by many teachers and mentors, including Darryl and Linda Retter, and is grateful to continue changing lives as a role model and motivator for all dancers.

In 2019, Nadine received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Educational Studies with a minor in Dance and a minor in Psychology from California Lutheran University. She also received a Multiple-Subject Teaching Credential from CLU and spent a number of years in elementary education teaching all subjects in K-3rd grade.
