Gina Badone
Gina Badone is an exciting industry professional and dance educator. Originally from Yuma, AZ, Gina has been dancing, teaching, and choreographing in Los Angeles for the past 20 + years. She began her LA journey as a Dancers Bridge Scholarship under the direction of Darryl and Linda Retter. She taught at the renowned Retters Academy of Dance, teaching Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hop Hop, Musical Theatre, Technique, and MORE! She was Co-Director of The Dancers Bridge LA and Rhythm Machine Dance Companies and personally coached SYTYCD’s runner-up, Valerie Rockey. Her passion, dedication, and expertise continue to assist teachers and dancers.
This inspiring master teacher has taught on Dance Teacher Connection, DanceMakers, Chicago National Association Dance of Masters (CNADM), Southern Association of Dance Masters, and TurnItUp Conventions, to name a few. Her energetic teaching style and creative choreography lend to her nationally and internationally acclaim. Ms Badone’s work has been featured in Nickelodeon’s The Thundermans, American Girl’s Molly Movie, Bid Bad Voodoo Daddy, and the recent revival of Reading Rainbow with Levar Burton. Her concert work includes Keith Clifton’s Friends in Dance, Deborah Brokus’s New Perspectives, Dancers Bridge LA, and Concert of Love. This multi-talented performer has a wide variety of experience, including many corporate, industrial, and televised events, including LA’s first live billboard for Moulin Rouge, WB’s Christmas at the Grove, and charity events for the Boys and Girls Club, City of Hope, Jonathan Club and more.
Gina Badone is a seasoned and admired MusicWorks content contributor, choreographer, songwriter, and vocalist. Her products are in high demand across the globe. Ms Badone’s educational materials are invaluable to studio owners and dance educators.
