Janice Barringer Grade 3 Technique Video is Janice Barringer's 7th level of Ballet Technique. This level is intended for 13-15-year-old dancers. This is a solid intermediate level.

Grade 3 has the form of a traditional ballet class. Battement soutenu and fondu are executed en relevé. Rond de jambe is more complicated and longer. Double frappé, faster petit battement, battement tendu pour batterie, tombé coupé, rond de jambe en l’air, penché arabesque, pas de bourré en tournant, different forms of sissonne, grand battement jeté pointé, balançoire and beginning exercises for beats are introduced at the barre. Center floor the student will learn a full adage with développé. Intermediate jumps and leaps such as grand jeté and grand jeté en tournant are combined in basic combinations. Pirouette, soutenu and piqué turns en dehors and en dedans are learned separately and in combinations.
