Danceography on Jazz, Vol. 5 by Darryl Retter is a collection of three recital-ready jazz dances that combine performance choreography with progressive classroom training.
Progression Connection
What makes Danceography different is Progression Connection.
Each dance includes 10 across-the-floor progressions built directly from movement found in the corresponding choreography. Teachers can introduce these combinations during the technique-focused part of the dance year, giving students time to develop the movement vocabulary, musicality, coordination, and performance qualities they will later use in the recital dance.

A fun, funky jazz routine with witty, sarcastic lyrics and a playful storyline about trying a little too hard to impress everyone. The choreography gives dancers the chance to combine jazz technique with character, attitude, musicality, and strong performance quality while bringing the humor of the song to life.

Shine On - Advanced Jazz | Teens
An advanced jazz dance that begins with a mysterious groove before building into an energetic dance-club sound. Created for experienced teen dancers, the choreography challenges performers with dynamics, musical interpretation, confident jazz style, and strong stage presence.
