Diva Dolls by Becca Retter
Diva Dolls by Becca Retter is a ballet-to-hip-hop dance created for dancers ages 5–7. The routine begins with a more traditional ballet feel before shifting into hip-hop, giving the audience a fun surprise and giving young dancers the chance to show two very different performance styles in one piece.
The lyrics help tell the story, while the contrast between ballet and hip-hop gives dancers opportunities to explore musicality, character, and performance quality throughout the routine.
