The Big Time – Digital Download

The Big Time by Becca Retter

The Big Time by Becca Retter is a musical-theatre-style Grade 1 jazz dance created for dancers ages 7-10. The music begins with a softer ballad feel before building into a bigger theatrical sound, giving dancers the opportunity to show contrast, musicality, and personality throughout the routine.

With its Broadway-and-Hollywood-inspired style, The Big Time encourages dancers to combine jazz technique with expressive performance qualities and strong stage presence.

Designed specifically for the recital stage, The Big Time is a strong choice for teachers looking for a theatrical jazz number that gives young dancers the chance to build from a quieter opening into a confident, full-out performance.

Running time: 2:40
