Stayin' Alive | Aleksandra Wojda Nelson | Beginner Jazz | Ages 8–11
Stayin' Alive is a beginner jazz routine built around a fresh recording of the late-1970s classic, with vocals by Sophie Glasser. Aleksandra Wojda Nelson’s choreography uses straightforward jazz vocabulary and an upbeat performance style appropriate for younger jazz dancers.
The routine gives teachers an accessible way to work on musicality, coordination, rhythm, and
performance quality while giving students a recognizable, energetic piece for the recital stage.
