Intermediate Pointe Classes, 4th Edition – Digital Download

Intermediate Pointe Classes by Janice Barringer is a pointe technique video resource designed to help ballet teachers support students who are ready to move beyond beginning pointe work. Based on material from The Pointe Book, 4th Edition, this download features 20 intermediate pointe exercises from the “Sample Pointe Classes” chapter, with instruction by Janice Barringer and demonstrations by Devon Teuscher, Principal Dancer with American Ballet Theatre.

These exercises were taught at The Eglevsky Ballet School and the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American Ballet Theatre and were notated by Ms. Barringer as part of her trusted pointe training work.

With clear breakdowns, professional demonstrations, and accompanying music, this resource gives ballet teachers a structured reference for developing strength, control, articulation, and confidence in intermediate pointe students.

This download is ideal for teachers who want a thoughtful, progressive approach to intermediate pointe training and a reliable classroom resource based on the work of one of the field’s most respected pointe educators.
