The training is built around the Al Gilbert Tap Syllabus and more than 40 years of my experience teaching the work.

Training Built Around Your Studio

Your tap program, faculty, and goals are unique. Training can include studio owners, tap teachers, co-teachers, and teaching assistants. You decide who participates.

Each training day focuses on one section of the Al Gilbert Tap Syllabus and typically includes 4–6 hours of instruction. Studios can focus on one level range or combine multiple ranges over consecutive training days.

What Your Studio Receives

• In-depth faculty training for each selected level range
• Practical teaching guidance and insights to help your faculty teach the material with greater clarity and consistency
• Technique notes for the selected levels
• The corresponding Al Gilbert technique music and instructional video materials
• Your choice of CD/DVD materials or digital downloads

You’re also welcome to video-record the training sessions for future internal faculty reference.

Training Fees

A four-day engagement covers all four level ranges, taking your faculty through the complete Al Gilbert Tap Syllabus progression from Pre-Level through Grade 9.

Program & Booking Details

Training fees do not include travel expenses when travel is required. Complete information about travel, scheduling, payments, cancellations, and other program policies is available separately.
