Acro Dance Syllabus Level 5 for Studios

The Sparkle Acro Syllabus is NOT just an encyclopedia of moves. Rather, it’s a real-world, uncomplicated approach to building a perfect foundation in acrobatics (five levels: Basic to Advanced Beginner). Miss Faberge gives in-depth explanations on how to teach, spot and troubleshoot the most fundamental skills. For best results, be sure you’re familiar with all previous levels (Pink, Blue, Green, and Purple), as the instruction builds upon itself, step by step.

YELLOW is our final level of the syllabus. Here’s where we’ll make sure your acrobats have all Fundamental 5 skills firmly in place: basic rolls, all cartwheels, backbends, headstands, and a properly shaped- repeat, “properly shaped” handstand.

Plus, we’ll solve a mystery… how to elevate that baby roundoff to a full, power roundoff (for future big tumbling). This is the type of classroom challenge that Miss Faberge breaks down in a logical way. Any instructor can easily follow the checklists to achieve success.

LEVEL-5 marks a milestone. With a solid technical foundation, your acrobats can graduate, stress-free, to the intermediate family of moves (such as walkovers, hand walks, and backhand springs). You’ll be grateful for this time spent focusing on proper technique in these early levels. It’ll make the transition easy.

This video, like all the others, is full of nitty-gritty, down-home, salt of the earth teaching tips. The classroom demonstrators are real, typical students- the kind you probably have in your school. You’ll learn how to recognize deficiencies in execution and how to correct them.

Just print out the two page PDF file, back to back, on 80 pound white card stock, in color, and 3 hole punch. Distribute to the students. You keep one for your classroom record. The front is the working skill chart for stickers. When all the stickers are stuck… there’s an award certificate on the back. That’s it!
