The Big Time by Becca Retter is a musical-theatre-style Grade 1 jazz dance created for dancers ages 7–10. The music begins with a softer ballad feel before building into a bigger theatrical sound, giving dancers the opportunity to show contrast, musicality, and personality throughout the routine.
With its Broadway-and-Hollywood-inspired style, The Big Time encourages dancers to combine jazz technique with expressive performance qualities and strong stage presence.
