Danceography on Tap, Vol. 8 by Darryl Retter is a collection of three recital-ready tap dances that combine performance choreography with progressive classroom training.
Progression Connection
What makes Danceography different is Progression Connection.
Each dance includes 10 across-the-floor progressions built directly from movement found in the corresponding choreography. Teachers can introduce these combinations during the technique-focused part of the dance year, giving students time to develop the movement vocabulary, musicality, coordination, and performance qualities they will later use in the recital dance.

Everything To Me - Low Intermediate Tap | Grade 3 | Ages 9-11
A warm, upbeat tap dance built on a relaxed acoustic-guitar foundation. The storyline celebrates friendship and the confidence that can grow from having someone important in your corner. The easygoing musical feel gives young tappers plenty of opportunity to develop rhythm, musicality, clean footwork, and expressive performance.

A feel-good tap dance with a smooth, easygoing groove and a storyline centered on lasting friendship. The music gives intermediate dancers a fun setting for developing rhythmic clarity, musicality, coordination, and confident performance while connecting with a positive, relatable message.

One Love One World - Advanced Tap | Grade 5 | Teens
A meaningful advanced tap dance centered on equality, tolerance, hope, human rights, love, and world peace. Written and performed by Craymo, the song is also featured through the United Nations peace-music project and on the UNESCO New Songs for Peace website at www.newsongsforpeace.org. The choreography combines challenging tap patterns with light partner work, giving experienced dancers opportunities to develop precision, musical interpretation, coordination, and mature performance quality.
